New Paint!

This is Scott taking the kids to bed but also shows our new paint job nicely. We just had the halls, kitchen, and living room painted. I posted a few pics of the new color! What a good daddy too, huh? The kids love getting horse back rides!

Trip to Oregon and Dance!

We went to Oregon for Halloween this year. Reagan was a witch and Kyler was a pirate. We had a good time. We went to the corn maze which had a petting zoo and other games. Reagan carved a pumpkin with her grandparents. Scott and his Dad stayed home and handed out candy while watching the Ducks game. Tracy (Scott's mother) and I took Reagan trick or treating with the neighbors. Kyler went to a few houses but had more fun answering the door. He got very excited whenever someone knocked. He told them all tay too (thank you) and bye bye. It took us 14 hours to drive home but it was worth it. The kids always love to see their grandparents.

Today Reagan had a dance recital. She did such a good job!

what we've been up to....

I was getting ready in my bathroom and heard Reagan say, "Mom, come look at Kyler". He came into my room and had my eye shadow in one hand and the brush in the other. He thought he looked pretty good!
This is a picture of Scott reading to the kids the other night after he got home from work. When I pull out the camera they think they need to pose or pull a face.

I have been taking more video clips of the kids lately and the kids love to watch themselves after.

Scott's grandparents came to visit this weekend. We have had a great time with them here. They are so great with my kids and so pleasant to have around. They are also such great examples to us.

We had Reagan's birthday party today. Her birthday is tomorrow (Sunday). There were about 25 kids here. All the boys got pirate hats, swords, hooks, and eye patches and the girls got tinkerbell skirts, wings, wands, and stickers. We played a bunch of games, had cake and ice cream, broke open the pinata, opened presents, and played a couple more games until all the parents came. My house looked like a war zone when they all left. I should have taken a picture of it....that would have been more impressive. All the kids had such a good time and Reagan got some really nice gifts.

BYU's victory at the new Cowboy's stadium

Excited about the win

Breakfast with Ty Detmer on game day

Before the game, in the new stadium

The amazing Dallas Cowboy's new stadium.

We flew out to Dallas, TX on Friday and flew back to SLC on Sunday. Saturday we got up and had breakfast with Ty Detmer then we headed off to Six Flags. After Six Flags, we headed to the game. It was an intense, close, stressful game but we came out with the win! The crowd was crazy excited and celebrating every play which made it really fun. Everyone was chanting in the hallways, on the bus, etc. There was so much team spirit! We flew home on Sunday and drove to SG. We just got back this afternoon and are now recovering from vacation :)

LOTS of pictures

This weekend we drove to Grand Junction to Scott's cousin's (Dane and Aimee) wedding reception. We had a great time with all the cousins. We had a bbq and went swimming at his aunt and uncle's (Steve and Connie) house. On Sunday Scott's cousin (Brett and Jessica) blessed their new baby, Ashley. After the blessing we went to the Brady's house and had a bbq.

These are all pictures of Reagan's first practice and first game. She was very timid at first and is slowly getting aggressive. We practice at home and she is really good but when she gets on the field she gets a little passive.

Trip to San Fran and Painting my room

(

We went to San Francisco the first of August for Scott's annual "meetings". His work pays for the flights, transportation, entertainment, food, etc. We had a great time. We went on a tour of the city where we stopped and got off the bus and spent as much time as we wanted at several different places. We went to Lombard street (the curviest street in the world), we went to the city hall, we went to Golden Gate Park, over Golden Gate Bridge, to union square, ghiridelli (or however you spell it) chocolate factory, the warf, etc. We also went to an Oakland A's game, six flags and a tour of Alcatraz.

Here are some pictures of me painting and my finished product. The only good thing about painting is that it is rewarding. Other things I do around the house are never ending and just come back like a boomerang such as dishes, weeds, laundry.......but painting you can do just once and enjoy your hard work. It also makes such a big difference. The room always looks so much better after being painted. I am finally so sick of my upstairs not being painted for the last four years so I decided to start with our bedrooms. Now I just need curtains and new lamps to finish off my room. Next is Reagan's room.
